While some are busy keeping up appearances, the Jane Doe Files are exposing the messy truth behind CPS and Foster Care.

It turns out, being a caseworker in this town means you can demand a child’s removal in a heartbeat, but when it’s time to answer the phone or show the evidence? Crickets.

They’re ignoring the facts and skipping the deadlines, leaving families in the dark while they ask for a raise. But we all know what happens when the truth finally comes out—and this time, it’s coming for Senator Barbara Favola.

We’re demanding body cameras, transcribed trials, and actual consequences for the people who think they’re above the law. Because in Virginia, safety shouldn’t depend on silence, and your future shouldn't be based on a social worker’s opinion.

In State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2025, which ended June 30, 2025, the Office of the Children's Ombudsman (OCO) in Virginia received 466 complaints regarding the conduct of local departments of social services.  While this number reflects formal complaints rather than a general sentiment of "unfairness," it is the primary metric for tracked dissatisfaction.
