Announcement (my version)

Hey guys I'm me and I got my daughter taken away three years ago and a system that is supposed to keep families together has severed mine. There is a rising experiences just like mine in our community and I started something called The Jane Doe Files to bring awareness to this very sensitive issue. So in this petition we're asking for our officials to wear body cameras, transcribe court hearings, and something else. When officials fail our community, our community needs to hold officials accountable.

Today I'm going to invite you guys right now to look at your phones and type in change.org/signthepetitionva. It takes no time if you sign in with Google and it will really help protect our community.

Virginia OCO SFY 2025

In State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2025, which ended June 30, 2025, the Office of the Children's Ombudsman (OCO) in Virginia received 466 complaints regarding the conduct of local departments of social services.  While this number reflects formal complaints rather than a general sentiment of "unfairness," it is the primary metric for tracked dissatisfaction. The Most Common Issues of Complaints Include Staff Bias Allegations that agency staff were biased against the complainant. Improper Procedures Specifically regarding child protective services (CPS) investigation protocols. Inadequate Support Providing inappropriate or insufficient services to families.
