✅Apartment Scripts
Hi everyone welcome back. Today i want to show you something that will make you think twice.
Qualifying For An Income-based Apartment
These apartments require proof of income to make sure rent is affordable (pay stubs, tax returns, or benefits letters) and there is a maximum income limit for eligibility.
Mandatory Inspections
My apartment requires inspections for safety. (smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and general apartment condition). They do however make sure to make notice before entering for inspections.
Pest Control
Routine pest control is going to start this summer but you can also call and request it. You should report any bugs or rodents right away.
Maintenance
I normally report any issues right away especially with appliances or plumbing and keep a record of the requests and repairs just in case.
Lease Renewal
Make sure you know MM/DD/YY your lease ends and MM/DD/YY you are required to submit paperwork. When going over the lease to note any minor changes in rules or rent.
For example my lease renewal is due before 06/2026 while the notice was made 03/2026. Ninety days.
Hi everyone welcome back. Today i want to show you my mail time routine.
So I've been wanting to make some Mail Time videos for a while so I want to start by showing you guys how I organize my mail.
First, I check the mailbox & front door deliveries
Then, I sort the mail into categories like bills, personal letters, and junk. Finally, I get to the fun paet. I open important letters, pay bills, or note deadlines and, if needed, I file important documents in my folder. For packages, I store them safely if needed, and then I respond to letters or emails. Repeat this routine a few times a week to stay on top of your Mail Time.
thanks for watching and see you next time.
Script
Hi everyone. I want to share a little about my journey as a single parent. People used to say I could never handle being on my own lease or living in my own apartment. But i did it. I keep my apartment safe and clean. I manage bills and appointments and I handle everyday life. CPS took my kid so it feels like a ransom here sometimes. That feels confusing and frustrating but being a parent doesn’t make you less capable as a person. it means you are learning and doing your best every day.
I try to keep routines for me and my child. We have family time, we have a routine, and we keep a schedule that works.
If you are on your own journey remember that being consistent and responsible counts.
Document your routines and wins and don’t let doubts stop you from doing your best. Thanks for listening. The disruption!
Apartment Tour/Room Tour
Hi everyone come on in. This is my apartment where I live and soon my child will be moving in. It is a two bedroom one bathroom place and I try to keep it simple and cozy.
This is the entry area, where we drop keys, notes, and any extra food we save for the shelter. We try to keep a small basket or hook here so things do not pile up.
This is the living room that we stare at most of the time because the chairs are really uncomfortable. Toys books or games might be here because this is where we hang out.
This is our kitchen where we cook, bake, and take a lot of videos. This is the table where we eat. The fridge usually has leftovers snacks and school lunch food. Finally, this is where we keep cleaning supplies.
This is the bathroom we share. It has the basics the sink shower and toilet. We keep daily items like a toothbrush soap and towels here also.
This is my child’s room. It has their bed toys books and clothes. Sometimes it is very clean and sometimes it looks like a tornado.
This is my room. It has the bed clothes and a small quiet space to relax. Sometimes this room is the calmest place in the apartment.
We each have a laundry bag and laundry day is kinda crazy but it helps keep the rest of the apartment less cluttered
That is my apartment tour. Nothing fancy just a small place where you make everyday life work.
